Bio:

At a young age Bryan started his passion for golf course construction on the family farm playing in the sandbox, and hitting golf shots in the pasture.  As a teenager he worked at a few small golf courses in the area, moving his way up to assistant superintendent at the Edson Golf Course for two seasons.  His interest in golf quickly crew and after high school entered into Turf and Landscape management at Olds College.   After graduating with Diplomas in both programs he entered into the construction industry with a position on the crew of the new build of Blackhawk golf course in Edmonton Alberta.  After completion of Blackhawk Bryan started working with CTC Golf on new construction projects throughout western Canada.  As well as the diplomas from Olds College he has also completed his Golf Course Design Certificate from the University of Guelph.

For the past 20 years Bryan has dedicated his work to improving the game of golf, creating unique course throughout western Canada and enjoying the overall experience of working in the golf industry.  Bryan brings an understanding of all aspects of what is necessary to create a sustainable golf course.  His work with CTC Golf as project manager and lead shaper has allowed him to be hands on in the field on multiple projects to provide the best quality in all types of environments.

In 2017 Bryan started Ohnysty Golf Design to further his career in the golf industry, working on design projects in the Edmonton area.  After one year on his own Bryan partnered with Paul Crough to start Ohnysty Crough Golf Design and move forward as one of the top Design/Build teams in the industry.
