Project: Short Game Practice Area Development (Shaping)

Client: The Victoria Golf Club 

Location: Victoria, British Columbia

In the Fall of 2020, OC Golf Design was commissioned to provide construction shaping and site support for the development of a new short game practice area at the Victoria Golf Club. Working under the direction and guidance of Golf Course Architect Jeff Mingay, OC Golf Design assisted Jeff in the shaping elements of the project, specifically, the bunker and green complexes.  The work was completed in conjunction with the Clubs in-house resources and required the deft touch and creative shaping ability to match the character and feel of the golf course while achieving Jeff's creative vision for the work.
