Project: Three Hole Loop and Practice Area Development (Shaping)

Client: The Edmonton Petroleum Club

Location: Edmonton, Alberta 

In the Summer of 2020, OC Golf Design was commissioned to provide construction shaping and site support for the development of a new three-hole loop and practice area at the Petroleum Golf and Country Club.  Working under the direction and on-site guidance of Golf Course Michael Beebe, OC Golf Design shaped of multiple features throughout the project including bunker and green complexes.  The work generally included adding distinct contours to the green surface; constructing aggressively shaped bunkers; and introducing creativity in the green surrounds in the form of sharp fall offs, bail out areas, tightly mown slopes, turfed depressions, and pronounced ridges to match Michaels creative vision for the work.
