Project: Lethbridge Country Club - Phase 1 - (completed under the direction of Jeff Mingay, Golf Course Architect)

In the fall of 2021, the Lethbridge Country Club commissioned Ohnysty Crough Golf Design to undertake green surround and bunker enhancements on nine existing golf holes.  Working under the guidance and supervision of Golf Course Architect, Jeff Mingay, the work generally included the removal or renovation of multiple bunker complexes; tee box improvements; recontouring of select green complexes; removal of bulky mounds surrounding green complexes, and implementing creative contouring to promote fun and interesting recovery shot opportunities.  

 

Phase I of the Lethbridge Country Club project exemplified how quality golf course architecture can build upon the existing attributes of a property to create a unique, innovative and maintenance friendly golf course that can be enjoyed by all golfers, regardless of handicap. 

 

Phase II of the project is slated to be completed in 2022.
