Project: Hole #11 Green Complex Redevelopment (Shaping)

In the Summer of 2019, OC Golf Design was commissioned to provide construction shaping and site support for the redevelopment of the 11th hole at the Derrick Golf and Winter Club.  Working under the direction and on-site guidance of Golf Course Architect Jeff Mingay, OC Golf Design assisted Jeff in the finish shaping of the green surface, green surrounds, and approach areas.  The work generally included adding distinct contours to the green surface; as well as, introducing creativity in the green surrounds in the form of sharp fall offs, bail out areas, tightly mown slopes, turfed depressions, and pronounced ridges to match Jeff's creative vision for the work.
